everwave Milestones 2025
The year 2025 was defined by three major milestones for everwave: In March, we launched a new cleanup site in Albania; in May, we surpassed the milestone of two million kilograms of waste collected; and in autumn, we successfully completed our growth financing round. Three key achievements that will shape everwave’s future and strengthen our mission for years to come.
These successes are the result of years of hard work, strategic planning, and the dedication of our entire team. Every milestone represents more than just a number or a date. They stand for healthier ecosystems, cleaner waterways, and a more sustainable future for generations to come.
2025: A Year of Impact
2025 was a year of measurable impact and sustainable growth. The numbers speak for themselves: nearly 450,000 kilograms of waste collected, a team that grew to 42 people, and numerous successful social media campaigns that significantly expanded awareness of plastic pollution.
The opening of two new sites in Albania strengthened our presence in Europe and enabled us to address critical pollution hotspots in the region.
We are particularly proud of the progress made in waste recovery, whether through co-processing or recycling initiatives. These achievements reflect our commitment to a true circular economy and sustainable solutions that go beyond simply collecting waste. Our Zero-Waste Centers continue to play a central role in this approach.
