Weighing just 6 tons, SortX is quickly set up and ready for use. Its compact design makes it ideal for sea transportation and ensures that it can also be used in areas that are difficult to access.

Flexible use

SortX can be used at various locations, even in remote regions. This enables waste to be sorted directly at the point of collection and optimizes the entire cleaning process.

Immediate recycling

Immediate processing of the waste increases the efficiency of cleaning operations and reduces the environmental impact of transportation. Thanks to SortX, no additional infrastructure or costs are required for the temporary storage of waste.

Test run for permanent stations

Another advantage of SortX is the ability to carry out test runs at potential locations for new, permanent sorting stations. This supports the long-term planning of sustainable waste solutions.

SortX in action in Albania

SortX has already proven how effectively it can work during our cleanup mission in Albania in the Kukës region. After the collection of waste by our waste collection boat and manual cleanups on the riverbanks, the waste was sorted with SortX.

Thanks to the container, around 30,000 kg of waste has been collected so far. The high number of PET bottles collected is particularly noteworthy, enabling a recycling rate of 80% of the collected waste. Our aim is to further optimize the SortX so that it can be used again soon.
