Technology with impact
everwave develops technological solutions to remove plastic waste from rivers before it reaches the oceans. The company uses highly efficient waste collection boats, barriers and manual clean-ups, supported by AI analyses. Since its foundation, more than two million kilograms of waste have already been collected from rivers in Thailand, Cambodia and Albania. In addition, everwave is building local recycling infrastructure and raising awareness. The impact company implements all of these projects independently with local teams, thus creating additional jobs. At the heart of the business model is a certified plastic credit system: every euro finances the recovery of one kilogram of waste. This gives companies a transparent opportunity to take responsibility for their own plastic footprint.
